I would like to dedicate this portfolio to my father, Clinton G. Mahoney II. I believe that I get my interest in history and architecture from him. He was the one who said, "Hey, Clint, get your raincoat. We're going to go look inside that old mansion by the interstate". He never encouraged me to to break the rules by looking in abandoned buildings in Nashville. As long as I wasn't endangering anyone or getting arrested he didn't mind. He took me to old graveyards to look at the civil war makers and to museums and libraries. That is how I learned much of the history of Paducah Kentucky. Also, he was the one who took my family traveling and seeing other cities in the South and East. It was him who first allowed me to see Nashville. Thanks, Dad - I'm sorry that this was so corny but it's a dedication, it's supposed to be that way.
